  • Friday 1 May 2026 Camden Shield Winners The Y7 football team won the Camden Shield, beating all eight teams in the league and finishing top of the table. The title was secured in the final match against Haverstock, which we won 3–2 on home soil.

  • Friday 24 April 2026 Debate Mate Cup results I am delighted to share some fantastic news from this week's Debate Mate Cup competition which was attended by some of our debaters. Our students performed exceptionally well, achieving a podium finish, with our two groups placing 4th and 5th out of more than 20 teams. This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Students were congratulated by the organisation on reaching a podium finish in their first year of competing.
  • Friday 24 April 2026 Y10 Drama GCSE exam showcase performance Y10 drama students will be performing what they have put together for their final devising exam thus far on Monday 27 April in GGB, 5-7pm. They started from a range of stimuli and have created through-provoking pieces of theatre. This will be your opportunity to support them and give them some feedback on how clear their aims and intentions are. The actual exam will be performed on the Monday 28 April during the school day.

  • Tuesday 31 March 2026 Y7 Football team reach the final The Y7 boys football team put in a fantastic performance in a thrilling semi-final against Highbury Grove School, with the match finishing 2-2 after a closely contested game. Ted B opened the scoring in the first half with a well-taken goal, before Otto L added a second in the closing stages.

  • Friday 20 March 2026 Science Week 2026 Science Week has been buzzing with energy, curiosity, and a healthy dose of friendly competition. One of the standout activities came from our Y8 students, who took on the challenge of building spaghetti towers that could withstand the most mass – structures made entirely from dry spaghetti and marshmallows. Their mission: create the tallest, strongest tower possible using their imagination and teamwork.

The information below is the same as that shared previously and is intended as a helpful reminder of the key dates and arrangements as we move closer to the exam season.
  • Friday 6 March 2026 Y8 girls are social action winners A group of Y8s have been working with Arsenal in the Community to devise social action plans for things they think will benefit their community and have presented them to a panel of Arsenal staff at an event at the Emirates stadium. All the students did really well, speaking with confidence and passion about their plans to create meaningful and lasting change. A group of five girls won the competition and will go on to represent Arsenal at a national event at Everton's new stadium next month.
  • Friday 27 February 2026 Y11 bake sales – Y11 leavers fundraising This half term Y11s will start fundraising for their Leavers Celebration in June. The students will be running a fortnightly bake sale to help raise money for their big send off.
  • Friday 27 February 2026 Y7 Sports Success The Y7 Boys Basketball Team secured a hard-fought 21–16 victory away at Hampstead School. Having previously beaten them in the Camden and Islington Cup final, the boys knew this would be another close encounter. Leading throughout, the team controlled the game and remained composed to see out the win.

  • Friday 13 February 2026 A Hall for All technical briefings The technical design stage for the Hall for All project has involved developing the detail of the designs that have been agreed and approved by Camden planners so that the work can be tendered to a building contract. Reed Watts Architects led a series of briefings to re-familiarise staff, students, members of the Trust and the PTA and other project partners with the designs. The briefings have provided opportunities to raise any questions about the proposals, or to identify anything that may have been missed. Following the overview sessions, further meetings have taken place on particular aspects to finalise the technical design. These have been more focused alongside other members of the design team such as acousticians, service engineers and theatre consultants.

  • Friday 16 January 2026 Y7 and Y8 Cross Country As part of the KS3 Physical Education curriculum, students will be completing a scheme of learning in health-related Fitness. This scheme will introduce all students to different ways of exercising, outside of competitive team sports. Students have been learning that to be healthy, they need to consider all aspects including physical, social and mental health.
