Geography
Geography is not only up to date and relevant, it is one of the most exciting, adventurous and valuable subjects to study today.
So many of the world’s current problems boil down to Geography, and we need the geographers of the future to help us understand them.
Michael Palin
Y7 are taught Geography for 1 hour a week. In Y8 and Y9 students study Geography as a discreet subject taught by Geography specialists, 3 hours a fortnight in Y8 and 4 hours a fortnight in Y9. At GCSE, Geography is a popular option with strong results.
