U15 Cricket

Last Friday the U15 boys cricket team kicked off their season with their first match in the Middlesex County Cricket Cup, hosted by Merchant Taylors’ School against Christ’s College.

After losing the toss and batting first, we posted a total of 93 runs. The game went the full 20 overs and came down to the final over, but the opposition managed to finish the match.

Player of the match: Frank W for his excellent all-round performance with both bat and ball, as well as captaining the team and organising the field.

This Monday we played our second match in the U15 National Cup and secured a win against William Ellis School.

After winning the toss, we chose to bowl first, with the opposition posting a total of 116 runs. We then successfully chased this down in 18 overs, producing a strong all-round performance.

Player of the match: Fred W for an outstanding performance taking three wickets and scoring 34 runs not out.
