Ski trip 2027

We are now planning the ski trip for 2027!

The dates for this trip will be the 2027 spring half term (Friday 12 February-Friday, 19 February 2027).

We are going to Zell Am See in Austria with access to the Kaprun Glacier and Zell Am See ski resort, with the company Ski Bound. We have negotiated with the company and can offer this year’s trip for £1480. This cost will include:

• Coach travel to the resort (+20 hour journey)
• 5 hours ski school a day, with students supervised at lunchtime on the mountain by our staff. We have ensured that there will be small ski groups of no more than 10 students to an instructor.
• 5 days skiing and full equipment hire including ski helmets.
• 1 pizza night after skiing.
• Full board in hotel including packed lunch from Junges Hotel Zell Am See (3 to 4 in a room).
• Insurance and taxes paid. 

We don’t provide ski clothing but can help arrange hire or suggest ways to buy this quite cheaply. Expected cost for clothing would normally be approximately £100 and is not included in the price quoted. We will provide a suggested kit list, especially for beginners, in October 2026 and this will allow families more time to organise getting items.

Skiing is an expensive holiday which is why we provide a lot of time to pay for it. The school may provide financial support for this trip if you make clear your special circumstances. Students will need a valid passport and GHC card.

All students that submit the form will then be entered in to a raffle to be selected to go on the ski trip. A waiting list for the students that are not successful in the raffle will be in place, should any students drop out. We will notify you if your child is selected.

The closing date for submitting forms is Friday 8 May 2026.
