A Level & Vocational results success
ABS students have performed strongly at A level and vocational exams, with the vast majority accepting offers at their chosen universities.
We are delighted to have sustained last year's figure of 41% A* - B grades and pleased with the rise of A* - C grades to 75%. Good results were secured in many subjects with Sociology, English Literature, English Language & Literature and Dance doing particularly well.
Having secured their grades, ABS students are now off to a range of top universities across the country. A selection of their destinations includes:
Dylan Watts: A*, A*, A*, A, A

Nicholas John, Headteacher, commented:
Results at A level and BTEC combined with the range of destinations secured by our students reflect the excellent provision at LaSWAP. The number of students with outstanding sets of results will understandably grab the headlines but we are just as proud of students across the results spectrum who have made superb progress from their different starting points. The combination of four schools in the consortium enables us to offer our students an unparalleled choice of subjects and high-quality, personalised advice regarding future pathways.
